Grayson Perry’s exhibition at the British Museum has been extended to the end of February and it is well worth a visit! Perry curates an installation of his new works alongside objects made by unknown men and women throughout history from the British Museum’s collection.
Perry’s bizarre imaginary world strangely compliments the artifacts from the British Museum whilst exploring notions of craftsmanship. The exhibition features vases covered in witty captions, elaborate tapestries and the centrepiece, a richly decorated cast iron coffin-ship, displayed alongside objects from the past two million years of culture and civilisation. The Tomb of the Unknown Craftsman is on at the British Museum until the 26th February 2012.
